Abstract

This article considers the problem of effective separation of cotton linters from waste generated at cotton ginning plants. The shortcomings of existing regenerator devices are analyzed and an improved design is proposed to increase their separation efficiency. The proposed device is based on a combination of mechanical and pneumatic effects. As a result of the research, the possibility of increasing the separation efficiency and reducing fiber damage is substantiated.
