Machine Science makes no charge to authors at any stage — no submission fee, no review fee, no article-processing charge. Every accepted paper is published open access under CC BY 4.0 and the author keeps the copyright.

The process
Articles are accepted in English only. Formulas are typed in standard Microsoft Equation editors, with main formulas numbered on the right.
Authors attach a photograph and a short biographical note — place of work, employer’s address, and position.
Every manuscript is reviewed for scientific quality. Reviewers meet review deadlines and keep submissions confidential.
Accepted articles are assigned a DOI under prefix 10.61413 and published open access, free of charge.
Terms of submission
Publication in “Machine Science” is free of charge. There are no submission or article-processing fees.
Published under Creative Commons licences. Open access questions are answered at [email protected].
A preprint may be posted anywhere at any time, including before submission to the journal.
Our ethics and malpractice statement follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
