CHALLENGES IN THE INTEGRATION OF GREEN ENERGY SOURCES AND THE APPLICATION OF FUZZY CONTROL TECHNIQUES FOR WIND TURBINE POWER REGULATION

Abstract
This paper examines key aspects and challenges arising from the integration of green energy sources into next-generation power systems, with a particular focus on wind turbines. It examines the technical and operational limitations caused by the variable and probabilistic nature of wind flow, as well as their impact on power system stability, power supply reliability, and power quality. A separate section is devoted to the use of fuzzy controllers for regulating wind turbine output power under environmental uncertainty and incomplete initial information. It is demonstrated that the use of fuzzy logic provides more flexible and adaptive control, reduces fluctuations in generated power, and improves the overall efficiency of the control system compared to conventional control algorithms. The presented findings confirm the potential of implementing intelligent control methods when integrating wind turbines into power systems with a high share of renewable energy sources.
